3. Third-Party Cookies & SDKs
VIKASA integrates third-party services that may place their own cookies or use device identifiers:
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to serve rewarded video ads. AdMob uses your Android Advertising ID (GAID) to personalise ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Firebase (Google)
Firebase Authentication and Firebase Analytics are used for user login, push notifications, and usage analytics. Firebase may use device identifiers to deliver these services.
4. Advertising ID (Mobile)
On Android, VIKASA accesses your Google Advertising ID (GAID) solely to serve rewarded ads through Google AdMob. This enables us to:
- Show you relevant rewarded ads
- Prevent duplicate ad rewards
- Measure ad performance
You can reset or opt out of your Advertising ID at any time in your Android device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads.
5. How to Control Cookies
You have several options to control cookies and tracking:
- Browser settings: Block or delete cookies in your browser preferences
- Android Advertising ID: Go to Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation
- App permissions: You can revoke permissions granted to the VIKASA app in your device's app settings

⚠️ Note on Disabling Ad Cookies
Disabling ad tracking may reduce the relevance of ads shown to you. However, VIKASA's reward system is funded by ad revenue — you will still earn VIK rewards from watching ads regardless of personalisation settings.
6. Data Retention
Cookie data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months. Advertising IDs are not stored on our servers — they are processed by Google AdMob directly.
